Overview

The Newfoundland Armed Forces (NAF) are tasked with the defense and security of Newfoundland, focusing on homeland defense, Arctic operations, and international missions. Comprising the Newfoundland Army, Royal Newfoundland Navy, Royal Newfoundland Air Force, and Cyber Defence Directorate, the NAF provides a multi-domain approach to national security. With advanced technologies and strategic partnerships, they ensure territorial integrity while participating in multinational exercises. The NAF is prepared for diverse challenges including disaster response and supporting civil authorities, maintaining readiness and resilience across several environments.
