Overview

The Armed Forces of the Republic of Newfoundland are responsible for defending national sovereignty, protecting territorial integrity, and contributing to collective security in the North Atlantic. As a founding member of NATO and the Six Eyes Alliance, Newfoundland maintains professional, well-trained forces across all domains.

Our Armed Forces consist of naval, air, land, maritime safety, special operations, and cyber defence components, all unified under national command while maintaining close cooperation with allied nations.
